GAN 356 M 3x3 Magic Cube, Magnet Speed Cube, Stickerless Magic Cube Puzzle Gift (Lite Version 2020)

I'm so happy with my new Gan speed cube 356 M. I was a little bit wary as the seller had only just launched but I took a chance as it was fulfilled by Amazon. It was delivered the next day and I got exactly what i paid for plus the bonus of a bag, display case and solving guide which was in both English and Chinese. I've heard some people say that the colours on these cubes are dull - No way! I love them and they are much brighter than I expected (see my photos). All in all a fantastic speed cube with perfect strength magnets and seriously smooth, silent turns. I would definitely recommend this speed cube and Seller (Gan cube uk). Thank you.

I know technically it is not a 'Rubik's' cube but this is an amazing cube to use. The movements are swift and fluid. There is no catching and it has helped me improve my solve times no end. I am now under about 90 seconds. I do not think I will challenge the world record but it is a nice party trick!

Worth the money if you speed cube , impossible to break because it pulls apart and you can change how tight the mechanism is and how easy it is to turn so it’s like customisable kind of.

I bought this in Sept of 2021, and it was a really good option at that point. Now, in 2023, I would recommend the Gan 11m duo, at the same price point but with more advanced technology. The Lite version does not come with GES nuts, but they might not be necessary, depending on your personal preference. It can corner cut 45°, and reverse corner cut close to 45°. Magnets cannot be changed, but they feel like medium strength. This cube can be used in official WCA competitions.

I thought the magnets would make it snap into place but they don't do much.

I picked up the GAN 356 M to replace my old standard Rubik’s cube, and the difference is massive. Right out of the box, it turns super smoothly and feels really light in your hands. The best part is definitely the magnets. They give each turn a subtle click that helps line up the sides automatically. If you're turning fast and your alignment is a bit off, the corner-cutting handles it effortlessly without jamming or popping pieces out. The plastic has a nice matte finish too, so it doesn't get slippery or show scratches easily. The only thing to note is how fast it moves. If you're used to a stiffer cube, this might feel a little loose or slippery at first until you get used to it. It also comes set up pretty standard, so there isn't a huge box of extra spring parts to swap out like some of the super expensive cubes. Overall, it makes solving really fun and feels way more high-end than its price tag suggests. Definitely worth it if you want to speed up your solves or just want a cube that feels great to use!

Fantastic speed cube. Very smooth motion and seems robust and a couple of weeks of heavy use by an enthusiastic teenager.

So I bought an original Rubik’s cube a few weeks ago for fun and learned how to solve it, but it was making my pointer fingers very sore, and wearing down my nails a bit. It was just so frustrating to turn and would get caught all the time and it was so noisy. So after some Amazon research I picked this guy and oh my gosh!!! I knew it was going to be smoother and quieter and had watched a bunch of videos but me oh my. This thing feels weightless next to the Rubik’s cube and moves like butter. Very low noise, doesn’t get caught at all. My hands are able to move super fast! Honestly the only issue is that now my eyes have to catch up with how fast this cube moves. I’m having so much fun!!!
