How strong is this thing

Extremely strong. I'm over 400 pounds and I can really give this a cranking / lean into it.

Why is everyone reviewing a meat grinder? the item i am seeing is a potato slicer. https://www.amazon.com/rovsun-upgraded-commercial-vegetable-includi

this item is veggie slicer, chopper, potato wedges u can't use it for meat maybe for deli turkey cubes if u cut it thick.

How long of a potato can fit into this?

Almost potato would fit into this cutter as long as the width of it is not bigger than the blade width. Any questions about it, please let us know. Thanks!

Can I get the blades sharpened?

You probably can if you go to a knife sharpener. It is easier to buy some more blades.
