Algae reduction occurs due to the plants out competing the algae for available nutrients. Inline mounting also reduces algae growth on diffuser disc. Replaces the need for large external bulky reactors. Built in features with Check Valve, Bubble Counter, Locking CO2 hose connection for even high pressure applications and Replaceable Ceramic disc for ultra fine mist. Also has a wall mount bracket. Can be mounted external or internally. 1/2 – 5/8 " 12-16 mm hose connection for connection to your canister filter or pump. Simple to install on new or existing systems. Best connection with standard 1/2” hose or 12 mm, Can be used with up to 5/8 “ hose. Always use clamps on any hose connections without integrated locking fasteners. Notes and Features O-Rings are positioned away from the ceramic disc towards the connection point with hoses or CO2. The ceramic disc has a rubber holder that acts as the o-ring in the center connection point. Installation tips Install the diffuser in the outflow line of the canister filter or direct connect to a pump. Best orientation is CO2 inlet side down. The diffuser can be placed anywhere you can run the hose to. In nonlighted place no algae will grow or clog ceramic disc. Pressurized CO2 source is recommended. Heating hose ends in hot water allows for easier fitting. Always use clamps for safety.
