Does the discription "6 pack" mean 6 pairs or 6 individual socks?

Just got them today--September 2, 2020. There are 6 COMPLETE PAIRS--12 socks. There are 2 pairs each (4 socks each) of the 3 colors shown.

is the eleastic at the top very stretchy? i HATE tight elastic that hurts my leg and leaves a mark

The inside circumference of the top band is just 6 inches when unstretched (that's for the size 12-15). My calf is 15.5 inches. If I pull these socks all the way up, I might as well apply a tourniquet. I wear them below the calf where they must stretch to only 12 inches and they still leave a deep mark. If your calf is any larger than 12 inches, I'd guess you will find these uncomfortably tight.

Do these wear in the heel & toe? I always seem to get holes in my heel then toe section, thanks

I've bought these socks twice, in the 12 pack, sadly each time The socks have all gotten holes in the heels. It's not because of my footwear. I believe that the problem lies within the material and that nothing is made like it used to be. I had socks that were 10 years old or more that didn't wear holes in them and when they did it was the stitching that popped. Out of a Dozen socks I've had probably 3/4 of them end up with heel holes. I work in an even more active environment than construction and I get about 4x the amount of wear than the average construction person.

What size shoes is the Size "Big-Tall" for???

I have size 12 shoes. I ordered 12-15 size. When I got them there were no size markings on the pack anywhere!!! Fit tight!! I returned them.
