needs an update
This book needs an update. I prefer the Bradt guide for Zimbabwe, which is newer. If you are going to Zim on a tourist visa, do not do anything outside of game parks. If you are going to work as a volunteer or mix tourism and that, get a business visa. Trust me, I know, as they interrogated me for 3 days and jailed me for 4 nights before clearing me of all charges and sending me home. The country is quite tense given likely 2013 elections. They are hosting the UN Tourism meeting in 2013 in Vic Falls - I think in March, but not sure.

Difficult to follow
Difficult to follow in a wonderful land with no roads and multiple languages, no great help for us

A really great book with a wealth of clear information. I would highly recommend and I'm looking forward to making a trip to Zimbabwe.
