How does it attach to the ground?  I need something like this for curbside delivery.

Hello, I had over $600.00 worth stolen out of my traditional mailbox, maybe by a homeless. It had an empty coffee cup in it and I asked the mailman if he had delivered anything the prior day and he explained what he had left. It was three small packages, a camera lens, A silver metal from France and some small flashlights. Anyway to answer your question: I will tell you what I did and what I started to do. The unit has a bolt in the center of the bottom that comes with a hand screw knob similar to a facet handle. I used a concrete stepping square drilled a hole it its center and screwed it to that. It makes it all pretty heavy and I doubt anyone will attempt to carry it off, but they could I guess. What I started to do and probably should have, was to dig a hole in the ground like a post hole, perhaps a little wider at the bottom. Fill it with  concrete either mixed or dry, insert the bolt allow it to set up, place the mailbox on it , screw it down. I have had it in place for a couple of months and love. I did have to replace the lock, because it was a type that was designed to keep water out, but mine kept the key out! Hope this helps! I would recommend it!   Michael

What is the largest box size it will handle?

The manufacturer's website says the largest parcel is 11.5" x 9.3" x 7.3". If you want a drop box for larger packages, check out the dVault Deposit Vault DVCS0020, which you'll find listed on Amazon and elsewhere. The max box size is 11-3/4"(w) x 7-1/2" (h) x 11" (d) to fit within the white rotating security hopper inside.

How do you fix this mailbox to the ground? do you need to drill some holes at front door?

pour a concrete pad and put the bolt in the mud and let it cure in there.  Place the box on top of the bolt (pull the bottom panel off the floor interior to reveal the hole on the bottom) and slide box on top of the bolt - secure down with the nut provided in the packaging.
