I mistakenly ordered this configuration with a hand strap that winds outward (what the product listing refers to as "clockwise"), thinking that "clockwise" is from the wearer's perspective, rather than an observer's perspective. I wanted the hand strap to wind inward, per the Ashkenazi tradition, so I contacted the seller. Even though I had ordered the wrong item, they promptly remedied the situation by sending me an inward-winding strap and a short video they made, showing how to change out the straps, all free of charge. Now I have a beautiful set of kosher tefillin that I look forward to davening with every morning. Review: Kosher and well made - I had some concerns because I saw some reviews on the tefillin peshutim that they checked out not kosher, but I had my gassot checked by a sofer and they are indeed kosher. They are also very well made and I'm very pleased with them. The tefillin did come with a certificate that they were checked. Out of an abundance of caution, I would still say get yours checked by a person you trust before saying bracha on them.

Kosher and well made
