HS WARRIOR: One woman's ongoing battle with Hidradenitis Suppurativa

Pen, this book speaks volumes to me as a provider attempting to provide quality care to patients dealing with HS. Many healthcare providers simply do not understand the severity of morbidity associated with HS. I will encourage my colleagues to read this book with which to augment their practice. May God bless you with your HS journey and thank you for being willing to share your struggles with others to increase HS awareness.

I just got this book today and finished it cover to cover. I also suffer from HS and fight tooth and nail to get the word out of what I, and other suffers, go through. The author said a review and buying her books boosts her morale. I definitely will be writing more reviews after buying more of her books, as I know how much the little things mean when this disease gets real tough. This book truly reveals what we all go through. This book needs to become known. Bless Pen's heart for putting this out there and for being so brave to expose what she goes through.

As a fellow sufferer of this disease I felt as if the author was reading my mind and penning it on paper! She is with our filter and for good reason! Her description of HS is raw , as it should be. Love the book!!!

Everyone needs to read this book to learn about this disease and realize the true fortitude that HS sufferers must have to fight this disease.
